Montgomery County News for our area. Our county is planning a 33,000 square foot facility for the White Oak area. It will include Softball Fields/Gymnasium/Game Area/Computer Lab/Community Lounge/Arts & Craft room with a Kiln and Multipurpose Fields. This will be a wonderful added attraction to our area. 2010 Kite Festival - Saturday, March 27 |

Smithsonian Kite Festival for 2010 is Saturday, 3/27/10 from 10AM until 4PM (rain date 3/28). This is part of the Cherry Blossom Festival. The location is between 4th & 7th Street on the National Mall. This is a beautiful site to see if you have never attended. Kites from all over the world! 2010 Folk Festival - Thursday, June 24 |

June 24th thru June 28th and July 1st thru July 5th, Opening daily 11AM until 5:30PM and admission is FREE! Location: The National Mall between 7th & 14th streets. Parking is limited so the best way to get to the festival is by Metro. The closest stations are Smithsonian, Federal Triangle and National Archives. This is fun day for the entire family but remember this is during our HOT months and to drink plenty of water. HAVE A GREAT TIME! |

| 62nd Annual Montgomery County Fair in Gaithersburg is coming on 8/13/10 and will run through 8/21/10. This is FUN for the whole family with many many EVENTS scheduled. The 34th Annual Maryland Renaissance Festival for the 2010 season starts on 8/28 and will be open every weekend through 10/24.
