	White Oak Facility - November
Montgomery County News for our area. The county is planning a 33,000 square foot facility for the White Oak area. It will include Softball Fields/Gymnasium/Game Area/Computer Lab/Community Lounge/Arts & Craft room with a Kiln and Multipurpose Fields. This will be a wonderful added attraction to our area. SILVER SPRING Downtown Arts & Entertainment will be Hosting the Downtown Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade on 11/21/09 Fun for all Ages The Parade Route is Downtown Silver Spring on Georgia Ave from Sligo to Silver Plaza on Ellsworth Dr to Fenton Street This year the parade will include 50-foot balloons and floats with local bands and The Washington Redskins Marching Band and a SPECIAL visit from Santa Claus

On December 3rd, 2009 the National Christmas Tree Lighting will once again provide an opportunity for all to come together to Celebrate the season and share the message of Peace. This will be the 86th Anniversary of this holiday tradition. We want to thank everyone for their contributions to our food drive. With your help, Home Properties collected and donated approximately 8,000 pounds of food and hygiene items!
